Kitty in the Marigolds

While walking past my garden I spotted one of my cats nestled among the marigolds. What a photos op! I sneaked past her & hurried into my house to grab my camera hoping she would still be there when I returned and she was!  She was such a great little model posing so nice for me. She's obviously got something in her sights. To see the before image and a short explanation of my editing process click on "Read more" below.

Camera Shy Doggies

When it comes to getting photographed dogs behave much the same as humans.  Some really "ham it up" and, well, others don't.   In fact they will do everything possible to make things difficult.  My last photo session at the Habersham Animal Shelter was particularly challenging.  I think these three got together and planned their "back to the photographer" strategy!

Going back to Ireland!

We love to travel and were fortunate to visit Cork, Ireland a few years ago.  We did a private tour there using Butler's Buses.  They were great.  Looking forward to using them again this summer when we're back in Ireland!

One of my favorite pet products

One of my favorite pet products. Picks up my kitty's hair great! It doesn't tell you this....but to empty it just stick the skinny vacuum wand attachement between the rollers & suck the hair right out. I've had it several years, still works but may be time to get a new one soon.  UPDATE:  just bought a new one the other day & it now has the ability to take the top off to empty the hair!
