Camera Shy Doggies

When it comes to getting photographed dogs behave much the same as humans.  Some really "ham it up" and, well, others don't.   In fact they will do everything possible to make things difficult.  My last photo session at the Habersham Animal Shelter was particularly challenging.  I think these three got together and planned their "back to the photographer" strategy! 
And of course as soon as I lower the camera they turn & look, LOL!  And if I walked around to where they were facing...you guessed it....they did an about face.  But after much sweet talk, jumping up and down, squeezing the squeaky toy and generally acting like a crazy person, they rewarded me with some great shots.  It may sound strange but this is one of the things that I love about Pet Photography.  Working with amazing pets, getting them to trust you and producing photos that reflect their soul.
