How Landscape Photography went to the Birds.

When I saw the snow yesterday morning I grabbed my camera and went outside to capture some landscape shots.  After all, it doesn't snow in Georgia all that often.  During my exploration my attention was diverted by these little honkers.

Rusty's Photo Session

Rusty is a handsome little dachshund who was used for breeding.  He's now been neutered and currently in a foster home hoping to find his forever home soon.

Sandy and Mick's Pregnancy Photo Session

We began Sandy's photo session by photographing just her.  Her hubby, Mick, was not in the studio yet.  We were about 30 minutes into the shoot when Mick arrived & Sandy's face just lit up...the photo below captured the moment.

What's Become of the Cat with No Eyes?

Many of you who follow my Facebook page might remember the little kitty "Sebastian" who was in pretty bad shape & needed to have his eyes surgically removed.  Well he has a really good home now & yesterday I was so thrilled to do a photoshoot of him & his furry family members. He's such a great cat & he definitely doesn't let his blindness slow him down.

Today at the Habersham Animal Shelter

 My husband, Mark, (in the photo over there) and I volunteer at our local animal shelter photographing the pets up for adoption.  I'm the photographer & Mark is my patient assistant.  Normally we photograph the doggies and sometimes a few cats.   Well, today was CAT DAY!  And as you can see from the photo Mark was getting some thank you loving from one of the cats.  LOTS of cats at the shelter today in need of adoption. So PLEASE if you're looking for a loving feline or canine companion visit your local animal shelter.

Also today, 2 cats were adopted by these beautiful ladies.  YEA!!!!
