Life's best moments are unplanned

Last week it was such a beautiful day outside so I decided to grab my camera and take some close up photos of our Bradford pear tree blooms.  I slapped on my Canon 100mm macro lens & proceeded outside.  It was a little windy & the branches with the blooms were moving about.  I was momentarily bummed until I spotted our low growing heather blooming with bees buzzing around. Uh huh! I plopped down & shot away.

I was about done shooting the heather & bees when who should appear??? Mikey my cat.

A new photo op!
Then he shot up the tree!

Had a great time photographing him in the tree.  He posed & talked to me.

After his impromptu photo session I gathered myself up & shot what I originally set out to shoot....the Bradford pear tree blooms.  But I must say that it was unplanned & unexpected subjects that really made my day.
