Poor
little kitty. She's really a sweet little thing. We think she was in a
fire since her little whiskers and some fur is singed. She'll be beautiful again once her fur grows back. She just needs a loving home.
Cute, fun little dachshund and many more loving pets available at the Habersham Animal Shelter in Clarkesville, GA See more available doggies on my facebook page.

What is Custom Pet Photography?
I wanted to write a post on "What is Custom Photography?" but found this
article which does a great job explaining it. Even though it's written for Professional child photographers ...it applies to pretty
much all areas of professional custom portrait photography.

Cat Expressions
I use to think cats didn't have very
expressive faces or much of a sense of humor. That was before I began
photographing them. They're quite quick with their expressions...almost
like they don't want you to notice. But I caught this one!

Why Custom Pet Photography?
Why Custom Pet Photography?
Our rottweiler, Josee, passed away unexpectedly about 12 years ago. She was an amazing dog and we loved her like she was our child. We have tons of photos of her, but at that time my camera experience was limited to a cheap little film point and shoot. Sure, some of the photos are cute, but the quality is lacking and definitely nothing I want hanging on my wall. At that time I had never even heard of "Pet" Photographers. Boy! what I'd give to have some beautiful, professional portraits of her!
So, why should you consider having your pet's portrait taken? With today's digital cameras it's easy for you to take lots of photos of your pet. But have you ever compared your photos to those of a professional pet photographer? If not, you should! Professional photographers have years of experience, education, expensive quality equipment and the knowledge of how to use software to make your pet look their best. Having a pet professionally photographed isn't for everyone, as it costs a few bucks. However, if you want a lasting, beautiful memory of your best furry friend(s), it's something you should definitely consider.
In loving memory of Josee... me and Josee after her bath. Wish I had some photos of her that showed how beautiful and special she was.

HomeTown Neighbors Magazine
Just had one of my photos published on the cover of our local "Hometown Neighbors" Magazine. I took this shot last year at the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Clarkesville, GA. Just love capturing motion blur!
